When the weather turns cooler, play can continue. Vainio children’s softshell trousers are designed for outdoor play, movement and changeable between-season weather. The inside feels soft, while the flexible fabric moves comfortably with the child even during energetic play.
Comfort for outdoor play
- An adjustable elastic waist makes it easy to achieve a comfortable fit.
- Articulated knees provide extra room for movement, crouching and climbing.
- The cut is a couple of centimetres wider than Vainio Päntz and sweatpants, leaving room for an extra layer when needed.
- A slightly higher waist helps protect the back and tummy from the cold.
- Optional elastic at the leg openings helps keep the trousers in place.
Size and fit
Sizes 74–158. Choose the size your child currently wears. The fit is slightly roomier than Päntz and sweatpants to allow for layering.
Material and care
Softshell: 96% polyester and 4% elastane. The fabric is slightly stretchy and flexible, with a soft fleece backing. OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
Wash at 30°C. Do not iron or tumble dry.
