Vainio Clothing – a new name for a domestic children's clothing brand
Lately, you may have noticed a significant change in our company. Until now, we have operated under the name Leggo Oy, but due to legal challenges from a large Danish toy manufacturer, we had to change our company name.
Although the decision was difficult, we are proud to present our new name:
Vainio Clothing.
This is not just a name change. It is also an opportunity to grow and develop an even stronger domestic children's clothing brand.

How did this come about?
Leggo Oy was founded in the summer of 2023 out of a love for domestic and sustainable children's clothing.
From the beginning, we have been committed to designing and manufacturing our products in Finland. This principle has not changed despite the name change.
All our products – including durable children's trousers – are still handmade and made to order.
When we heard about the Danish toy manufacturer's demand to change our name, the situation initially felt unfair. As a small domestic company, however, we knew that we did not have the resources to engage in a legal battle against a large corporation.
We decided to turn the situation into an opportunity and build a brand that more clearly communicates who we are.
Looking to the future
Although the name has changed, Vainio Clothing continues with the same values as before.
We still manufacture domestic children's clothing that combines:

Durable children's clothing and especially durable children's trousers remain at the core of our collection.
At the same time, we have been preparing new products and collections for the upcoming autumn.

The same family business – a new name
Vainio Clothing is still a Finnish family business.
Every garment is handmade to order in Finland. Whether it's durable children's trousers or other children's clothing, our goal is to make products that withstand use and time.
The name is new, but our values remain the same.
This is just a new chapter in our story – and we are happy to embark on this journey together with our customers.
