How the service works

1. Purchase the service and choose the reinforcement fabric

Select knee reinforcement and your desired reinforcement fabric color from the online store.
You can send one or more pairs of trousers at once – choose the package that suits you. By reinforcing multiple pairs of trousers at the same time, you get the service at a significantly lower price.

2. You will receive a shipping label in your email

We will send you a ready-made shipping label via email.
Pack the trousers and take the package to the post office – easy and effortless!

3. We reinforce and return

We reinforce the knees with durable, replaceable reinforcement fabric in your chosen color.
The finished trousers are returned to you ready for use.

At the same time, the trousers receive a Vainio certificate.

Processing time

The estimated processing time for trousers is approximately 7 days from when the package arrives to us.
We will return the reinforced trousers as soon as possible.

Is the reinforcement clearly visible?

The reinforcement fabric is intentionally a visible and durable part of the trousers.

What if the trousers already have a hole?

We can also reinforce broken knees, but we prefer to reinforce intact trousers to prevent damage. If your product already has a hole, we will not patch it, but instead install the reinforcement over the hole. If the damage is exceptionally large, we will contact you before starting the work.

Can I send different sized trousers in the same package?

Yes, you can! Just write in the additional information field when purchasing the trousers what kind of reinforcements you want for which trousers.

What happens when the reinforcement wears out?

You can return certified trousers to us for re-reinforcement. This further extends their lifespan.

Are the trousers comfortable to wear even with reinforcement fabric?

The reinforcement is sewn over the fabric of the trousers, so the original material of the trousers is against the knee. The reinforcement fabric is durable but flexible, so you don't have to compromise on comfort for durability!
