Suomen Kädentaidot -messut kutsuvat Vainioita - osallistuminen valtava satsaus

Suomen Kädentaidot fair invites Vainioi - participation is a huge investment

The craft fair is organized in Tampere on November 15-17. and we are honored to start the first fair in the history of Vainio Clothing right here. Nothing more and nothing less than Europe's largest industry event. But what the hell are we doing there when we're not selling products from the tables to the fair goers?

Fair preparations have been keeping our team busy for several weeks already. We have planned various materials, fair clothing, campaigns and the fair stand really intensively.

Fortunately, we received incredible support for the design of the fair stand from Viestipaino in Tampere. They implement the exhibition booth materials with our Art Director Joona Koskela, and the booth sketches seem to exceed all our expectations. Our department will be very attractive and fit for purpose.

What is special about the whole participation is that we do not have any products for sale. Some of the fair visitors may raise their eyebrows when they hear that "they are not for sale" after the products on display. Our business idea is to manufacture products to order in order to avoid producing unnecessary textile waste.

We go to the fair with the same idea in mind. We present our ideas and products and guide fair visitors, accompanied by nice fair discounts, to design the products they like in our online store. The clothes included at the fair will find a new home after the fair through our Second Hand sale.

As Christmas approaches, we recommend a gift card to our online store as a Christmas gift choice for fair visitors. In this case, the recipient of the gift can design the children's clothes by himself or together with his children. Children love to wear clothes that they have designed themselves.

Participating in large trade fairs is an expensive endeavor for a small company and even a big risk. In addition to the booth fee and materials, we have two Vainiots working at the fair from start to finish all weekend. I hope that the sayings "hard work is rewarded" and "at the end, thanks stand" apply to this wrinkle as well.

Our Department is A 109 and there you will be greeted happily by Vainio's faijas, the brothers Otto and Olli. You are warmly welcome to listen to how the brothers shake out an always surprising performance!
