We have accidentally created a very bad business... Our satisfied customers do not have to buy our products at the usual pace, because Vainio's clothes last longer than expected! Fortunately, our aim from the beginning has been to reduce the amount of textile waste.

Second Hand is a place where sustainable development and individual style meet! Because our products are definitely play-resistant, instead of being tenderly "pre-loved", they are definitely also fiercely loved! Even fiercely loved clothes deserve to be loved again and a new chance to please as many users as possible.

We made a mistake in product design

When designing our products, we made another mistake that parents should be aware of. Based on the feedback we received, our clothes turned out to be too comfortable and the children love our clothes! But since children grow up, sooner or later the clothes will be too small. Through our Second Hand, we offer the opportunity to update your children's wardrobe at a lower price than before, so that the children can continue their activities in comfortable and high-quality Finnish clothes.

At Second Hand, we strive to offer familiar quality at a competitive price while ensuring that the original value and characteristics of the clothes are preserved. Basically, we only accept intact and clean clothes. However, we have been ahead of our time in product design, so we are not bothered by Vainio Pants' possibly worn reinforcement fabrics or frayed elastics. We are happy to exchange these "consumable parts" so that the product goes into circulation almost as good as new!

About returning the product

Proceed as follows:
1. Send an email to otto@vainion.fi and tell us about your desire to circulate your Vainio product.
2. We will send you instructions by email for sending the product to us . We strive to make this as effortless as possible for you!
3. Pack your Vainio products carefully so that the weather does not damage them during transport.
4. Take the package to the post office.
4. After we have received and evaluated the product, we will send you a gift certificate by email for the value that corresponds to the condition of the products.
5. You can use the shopping money you receive for new customizable products you want from our online store.
6. We strive to find a new home for the returned product and restore the product if necessary.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I know how much shopping money I get for my product?

If you want to know the amount to be refunded before you return the product, you can send us photos of it in advance, so that we can evaluate the matter in advance in a somewhat indicative manner. If the product is in such good condition that its resale does not require maintenance measures from us, the compensation we pay is naturally higher in its size category.

What does it require of the product that the amount to be returned is that 15 euros?

This requires e.g. the product is in perfect condition.

How easy is the return? Is this worth it?

We strive to make returning the product as effortless as possible! We will send you either a return code or, if you wish, a printable slip that you can e.g. tape to the package. Therefore, you basically don't have to do anything other than contact us, pack the product and take it to be shipped.

Is this worth it? IT IS. At the same time, you promote sustainable consumption, sustainable development and environmental friendliness by reducing the amount of textile waste.

What if there is a small hole in the product?

Send us a picture of your product. We assess whether the hole can be patched so that the product can still be restored for resale.

What if the product has a stubborn stain that I couldn't get out in the wash?

Then we may not get either. Unfortunately, until we find a perfect reuse destination for our unsalable products, we do not offer free postal services for product returns. Of course, these can be delivered to us at your own expense, and we strive to do something with them that is ecologically and socially relevant!
