How would it sound if you could wipe away small daily dirt and milk stains from your children's clothes without constantly having to wash them? Our durable children's trousers are designed precisely for this!
We set out to develop a new, special material, which is now available in our domestically produced children's clothing. From this material, I made myself a pair of Päntzit to see how well these domestic children's clothes would withstand everyday use. After months, I've been really pleased with how easily coconut milk or oat milk wipes off the trousers, without the need to immediately put them in the washing machine.
How does the material withstand everyday life?
Our fabric material is not completely waterproof, but it effectively repels moisture, which helps keep the durable children's trousers clean for longer. In the spring, I tested the trousers in the dust from gritting sand, and the street dust picked up from the child's shoes wiped off without a trace. Also, anyone with small children knows how common porridge stains can be on children's clothes. Although this durable material effectively repels dirt, porridge still didn't come off with just a wipe – but it gave us a good reason to test its washability! After washing, the trousers retained their dark shade and did not pill.
Domestic college material
Our unique, Finnish-made college material is treated to repel water and dirt. Despite its special properties, this fabric is very breathable and comfortable to wear. We have carefully selected the material, and therefore we always recommend using a detergent suitable for black fabric and following the washing instructions to ensure the color lasts a long time.
