Basic Friday also launches a special weekend campaign that touches us all:
During the weekend starting from Good Friday, between 29 November and 1 December. for every pair of Vainio Pants sold in our online store, we make a duplicate in preemie size.

  • These small preemie size pants are given as a gift to little ones coming home
  • We donate pants so that premature babies have something soft, durable and responsibly made - just like all children deserve.

How to participate:

  1. Buy Vainio Pants in our online store on Basic Friday and the following weekend.
  2. We will take care of the rest - we will make a duplicate in a premature size and forward the donation.

One more little thing - the doll's pants are made from leftover fabric

The process of cutting fabrics often leaves leftover pieces that would otherwise end up as textile waste. On Good Friday, these leftovers get a new life when we sell doll pants made from these materials in our online store.
